2FH Oh Baby Baby Experience

It was a great time of learning with 2FH. Many of them were intrigued by the many demonstrations carried out by the polytechnic students. 2FH looking at the mannequin blinking  All engrossed with watching the placenta   At the operating theatre  How can we miss out our group photo at the end of the learning journey! TT!!  Overall, i really enjoyed this learning journey with the class as they have shown enthusiasm in learning and i hope they felt the same too! 1st image: the father must wear a gown to prevent infection to the wife and he will cut the umbicil cord along with the nurse. The nurse will also assist in the childbirth by bringing out the baby.    2nd image: there are many different stages where the baby develops in the uterus. The baby develops eyes and organs in the later stages after it forms 3rd image: the doctor and the nurses have to wash their hands for 3 minutes in order to prevent infection to the patient in the operating theatre. 

simulation thingy when a patient is in distress, the nurses and doctor have to be vigilant and know what to do at all times. the nurse/doctor is not allowed to leave the patient alone and go and call for help. the simulation machine will stimulate different situations that the patient is going through. the student will then have to act accordingly and fix the problem. group 2, charisse, suveetha, elliot, daniel Sent from OPPO Mail

I learnt the purposes of different tools used in surgery and how they all serve different purposes in helping surgeons to save a patients life Group 6: Xin Hui, Megan, Akmal, Jonathan, Yi Kai

I learnt how the mannequin  helps in the simulation of a real life threatening emergency and how nurses use it to train themselves rather than just studying via textbook as hands on gives one the experience. Group 6: Xin Hui,Megan,Akmal,Jonathan
